Are you a high school student looking to pursue a college degree?
Have you noticed things in the world around you you think could be better?
Do you work to make the community a better place for those around you in ways like anti-bullying activism or volunteer work?
If any of these apply to you keep an eye out for Live Free Be Strong’s first competitive scholarship!
We will be giving five $1,000 scholarships to five deserving high school students. Ideal applicants will have an interest in volunteer work and community betterment. We will be releasing the essay topic and application by late 2016/early 2017 with an anticipated due date of April 2017.
Winners may be asked to read their essays at future Live Free Be Strong events.
For more information, whether for your school or as an individual, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of Live Free Be Strong is happy to come present information on both the scholarship and the organization as a whole to your high school classroom or club should that be of interest.
